Cupping Therapy

Experience the ancient art of cupping therapy at Cellar Door. Our cupping therapy sessions offer a holistic approach to healing and rejuvenation, promoting overall well-being for mind, body, and spirit.

Using specialized cups, our trained therapist Kellie creates gentle suction on specific areas of your body, stimulating blood flow, releasing muscle tension, and promoting natural healing processes. Cupping therapy has been known to provide relief from pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, and enhance relaxation.

During your session, our therapist will tailor the treatment to address your individual needs, ensuring a personalized experience that targets your specific areas of concern. Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain, stress reduction, or overall revitalization, cupping therapy can provide a natural and effective solution.

Headache Massage

Some people find headache relief with head and neck trigger-point massage. The idea behind its effectiveness: problems in your skeletal muscle refer pain up to your head. When you “release” those muscles, your chronic headaches ease up. Research on trigger point massage for migraine is limited but promising.

Thermotherapy (Hot Rock Therapy)

Thermotherapy is the application of hot or cold interventions and can be an excellent natural pain relief option. Thermal therapies work by affecting the deeper, intra-articular and core temperatures of soft tissues.

Prenatal Massage

It is an area of massage therapy dedicated to faciliting the comfort, health, and relaxation of people in 2nd or 3rd trimesters of pregancy while actively considering common conditions and discomforts.

Swedish Massage

A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by addressing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But the benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility, while reducing tension in muscles.

Pre/Post Sports Massage

Pre-event massage is usually 10-30minutes long and generally happens the day of and prior to the event. The focus is on preparation for high-intensity activity not to correct dysfunction or reduce stress. Therapists will use compression, kneading, ROM & active stretching, vibration and tapotement- all performed at an “up-tempo” pace. Remember, the goal is to get the athlete AMPED UP.

Post-Event massages happen after the event, usually within 72 hours. Its focused on recovery, increasing circulation, reducing muscle tension and overall calming the athlete. Therapists use stroking, kneading, broadening compression, joint mobilization, and assisted stretching. No deep tissue work, muscles need to recover more before that happens. Sessions are usually 30-45 minutes plus assessment & aftercare counseling.

Lymphatic Massage

Lymph drainage massage has become a popular form of massage due to its potential health benefits. This specialized approach focuses on the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. This type of massage aims to help the body maintain proper circulation, body fluid balance, and immune functions.
